Intera has strengthened its team with the appointment of Jouko Prami as CFO, effective from August 2026. Jouko will be responsible for Intera’s financial planning and management, development of administrative processes, IT services, risk management as well as fund reporting.

Prior to Intera, Jouko worked as CFO in growth companies in the food and pharmaceutical industries. In these roles, he drove operational development and built foundations for strong, profitable growth. In addition, Jouko has experience in management consulting and business analyst roles. Jouko holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from Aalto University School of Business. In addition, he has completed the CEMS Master in International Management (MIM), jointly offered by the University of St. Gallen and Aalto University.

Jouko is currently working alongside current CFO Tomi Lähdemäki during the transition period. Tomi will continue in his role as CFO until August 2026, after which Jouko will formally assume the role of CFO following the completion of his onboarding.

“What drew me to Intera was the opportunity to, through my role, support the growth and internationalisation of several ambitious companies simultaneously. More broadly, what I find compelling about private equity is how active ownership and the right toolkit can accelerate the development and success of diverse companies and, in doing so, create wider value for society,” says Jouko.

“We are very pleased to welcome Jouko to Intera. His strong background in scaling growth companies and broad financial expertise make him an excellent fit for Intera. At the same time, I would like to warmly thank Tomi Lähdemäki for his valuable contribution to Intera. Tomi has played a key role in developing Intera over the last 14 years, and it has been a pleasure to work with him,” says Juhana Kallio, Managing Partner at Intera.
