Intera’s portfolio company Suvia Group expands internationally through acquisition of Belgium’s AutoRepairGroup

31.08.2026

Intera Partners’ portfolio company Suvia Group has acquired Belgian AutoRepairGroup (ARG). The transaction marks Suvia Group’s first expansion outside Finland and is a significant step in the company’s international growth. The transaction brings together two leading independent operators with strong positions in their home markets.

AutoRepairGroup is Belgium’s largest independent body repair group. ARG operates 14 workshops across Belgium, employs more than 450 employees and completes more than 45,000 repairs annually. The company has a strong position in leasing and fleet customers and growing cooperation with insurance companies. It is also recognized for its expertise in electric vehicle and battery repairs, aluminium repairs, and ADAS calibration. The revenue of the ARG in 2026 is heading towards north of EUR 80 million revenue and 10% in EBITDA.

Suvia Group is Finland’s leading independent provider of vehicle damage services. Its businesses include InCar, Finland’s largest collision repair network; Suomen Vahinkotarkastus SVT, specialising in vehicle damage inspection and assessment; and automotive spare parts specialist AutoBodyParts. Suvia comprises 66 workshops, employs more than 600 professionals, and completes over 80,000 repairs annually.

Following the transaction, Suvia Group comprises 80 workshops and approximately 1,100 employees across Finland and Belgium.

“AutoRepairGroup is an excellent strategic fit for Suvia. We share the same commitment to quality, operational efficiency, strong local teams, and effortless customer experience. Suvia brings extensive experience in nationwide insurance partnerships and integrated claims services, while ARG has built leading expertise in electric vehicles, ADAS and modern repair technology. Together, we have a strong platform for responsible and profitable growth,” says Jens Jensen, CEO of Suvia Group.

Two strong logal companies

Suvia Group’s and AutoRepairGroup’s business models and markets complement each other well. Both companies have grown by combining a strong local presence, high-quality operations, and an efficient nationwide network.

Suvia has extensive experience in Finland in collaborating with insurance companies, as well as in building and managing a nationwide vehicle damage repair network. AutoRepairGroup, in turn, brings strong expertise in areas such as leasing and fleet services, electric vehicle repairs, battery-related work, and ADAS technology.

When we invested in Suvia in March, one of our main goals was to internationalise the group. We are therefore very excited and happy to be partnering with AutoRepairGroup, a Belgian leader that reflects similar values and culture as Suvia in Finland,” says Iikka Moilanen from Intera Partners.

The companies aim to leverage the expertise and best practices of both organizations while maintaining a strong local focus in their respective operations.

“Joining Suvia Group gives AutoRepairGroup an industrial partner that understands our business and shares our ambition to develop it further. This combination is built on growth, continuity, and mutual learning. Our employees, customers and partners can rely on the same local teams and service, now supported by the capabilities of a larger international group,” says Dieter Wemel, CEO of AutoRepairGroup.

ARG will continue under the AutoRepairGroup name and remain led by its current management team. Customer relationships, services, agreements, and day-to-day operations will continue as before. Suvia’s Finnish businesses and the InCar brand will also continue unchanged.

The Group aims to build a leading European vehicle damage repair platform while preserving the local entrepreneurship, customer focus and specialist expertise behind both companies’ success. The companies see significant opportunities to learn from one another in areas such as repair technology, customer experience, insurance and leasing partnerships, and operational efficiency.

Strong international groups are built on local expertise, shared ambition, and the strengths of both businesses. We are not merging two local organizations into one. Instead, we are building a group where strong local companies can learn from one another and grow together,” says Jensen.

Financial details of the transaction will not be disclosed.
