Stella
Stella was the market leader in home-delivered services, emerging as a pioneer in the sector in Finland. Stella’s wide range of services included housekeeping, childcare, healthcare, home care, and safety phone services. Stella’s mission was to simplify the daily lives of Finns and enhance well-being through its home-delivered services.
In 2014, Intera formed Stella by merging several leading Finnish home-delivered service providers into a single company. During Intera’s ownership, an ambitious growth strategy was created, and the foundations for growth were built through business development and investments into the company’s organization. Throughout this period, all of Stella’s business segments saw significant growth, establishing themselves as market leaders in their respective areas. The growth was achieved both organically and through strategic acquisitions.
Intera exited Stella in parts, completing the process in 2021. The company’s various businesses were sold to different owners, each finding a high-quality buyer. At the time of investment, the company’s revenue was EUR 9 million, with a workforce of 230 employees. Before the exit, Stella’s revenue had grown to nearly EUR 40 million, with approximately 1300 employees. Today, Stella’s former business operations continue under other companies and their respective brands.
