Psychotherapy center Vastaamo was a company providing mental health services. In 2020, the company operated in six locations and employed around 250 people until its operations ceased due to data breaches that emerged in the fall of 2020. The data breaches had occurred before Intera became the owner of the company in 2019, and Intera was not aware of the deficiencies in data security and customer data protection associated with them. The operational activities of Vastaamo were transferred to a new owner in 2021.
