Merivaara

Merivaara Group is a pioneer in intuitive healthcare technology and industrial design, with a particular focus on solutions that support surgery room solutions. Merivaara’s operating tables, lighting, control room and AV systems, as well as services, improve patient safety and increase the quality and efficiency of surgical treatment in leading international hospitals.

Intera became the owner of Merivaara in 2013. During Intera’s holding period, Merivaara developed into a world-class specialist in easy-to-use surgery room systems and solutions. Investments in product portfolio development and international distribution network expansion, along with a globally recognized brand, enabled the company to grow in international markets.

Intera exited Merivaara in 2022 by selling the group to Lojer Oy, a Finnish hospital furniture manufacturer. Merivaara continues its international growth as part of Lojer.
