Intera strengthens its team –Maximilian Björkqvist joins as an investment professional 

Intera’s spring begins with happy recruitment news as our team is strengthened by Maximilian Björkqvist, who has joined as an investment professional.

Prior to joining Intera, Maximilian worked in investment banking at J.P. Morgan and Danske Bank in Stockholm. In his previous roles, he gained experience particularly in M&A transactions, demergers and IPOs. Maximilian holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration from Hanken School of Economics, majoring in finance.

In my previous roles, I have worked closely with management teams and owners on strategic positioning, growth initiatives, and navigating market dynamics across the Nordics, and I look forward to applying that experience in my work with Intera and its portfolio companies”, says Maximilian.

Intera focuses on accelerating the growth and internationalization of its portfolio companies, working in close cooperation with management and the board of directors. Currently, Intera employs 18 investment professionals in Helsinki and Stockholm, whose role as partners for entrepreneurs and company management is an important part of Intera’s approach.
